Let me just say this...

Everything that is going on?

Could have been avoided a month ago with ONE email, yet the same mistake keeps getting made over and over. I guess sometimes people have to learn the hard way and then the even harder way.

Also, when someone extends their hand with a lifeline to escape the quicksand, it's not a good idea to turn them away because you are too proud to admit that you goofed up.

I'm done protecting you - you are going to have to live with the consequences of your actions. You and I both know what the truth really is.

And for the naysayers, haven't you learned by now that I have backup for everything? I don't post things without the proof. Screen-shots to follow tomorrow at the end of the day.

What do you hope to gain from this? An apology? An invitation back? Just your pictures/patterns, and then you're done with Ravelry for good?

Too late, nope, and yes.

I'm not trying to "gain" anything from this - except to put out my side of the story because the only thing that has been out there for a month is the misinformation put out by Ravelry and the sycophants and frankly, I'm tired of it.

I sat here for a month and said nothing and now it's time to say something because this time Casey pushed it a little too far. What did I get for being quiet? My reputation trashed, my kids threatened, and banned from Ravelry for doing absolutely nothing wrong.

I'll take one of those apologies. I'm willing to bet the people who hate the Bunker members so much don't even remember me from the Bunker. To say I was disruptive or any such thing is ridiculous. I didn't even know who the Rubbernecks, Casey or Jess or whoever was until the Bunker closed. Then I was like who the f- are these people and why do they hate the Bunker so much? The mods were not bad people and none of us have done anything wrong. At the very least, we have not done anything that is beyond the activities of a typical member.
I knit to do something that is relaxing and constructive at the same time. I live in a very liberal area and need conservative friends for support. I still have those friends, but Casey&friends has made knitting something rather distressing to me.

As far as proof about the threat to my kids, it's in the hands of the proper authorities. I feel no need to provide it to anyone else.

Would you like me to email you with today's update to the "Note"? Or do you have it already?
